John M. “Jack” Quinn

John M. “Jack” Quinn has received the highest honors available to a trial lawyer, including Fellowship in the American College of Trial Lawyers and election to Membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates. Among numerous awards and citations, in 2006 he was named one of the “50 Best Lawyers in Maryland”. In 2008, he received the Maryland Daily Record’s “Leadership in Law” Award. He has been included in “Best Lawyers in America” for over ten years and has held an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell for in excess of twenty-five years.
He previously served on the Maryland Governor’s Advisory Committee to the Law-Related Education Program and was instrumental in introducing the nationally recognized Moot Court Program to Montgomery County. Mr. Quinn has served as a Member of the Board of Governors for two terms and the Executive Committee of the Maryland Bar Association. He was elected as Fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation in 1998.
Mr. Quinn has served as trial counsel to the Bar Association of Montgomery County as well as Chairman of its Nominations and Elections Committee and Interprofessional Committee. He sits on the Board of Directors for a number of charitable and business organizations.
Acting as a special mediator to the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, he has conducted in excess of 100 specially appointed mediations and has served as a Special Arbiter on numerous occasions.
His areas of practice include business litigation, medical malpractice, personal injury, products liability, construction litigation, criminal law, workers’ compensation and family law.
Having practiced law in Maryland since 1975, he is a Member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bars as well as a Member of the Bars of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the United States Circuit Court for the District of Columbia Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
